Staffworks Group is now hiring a Full Time Fitter Welder to become an integral part of our team in Providence, RI. The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal form.

This position pays $25-$30/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products. Follow blueprints to meet product specifications. Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.

• Qualifications: Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields. Familiarity with welding tools and procedures. Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics a must. Ability to handle physical workload. Assemble from shop drawings - stairs, rails platforms. Fitting experience a must.
• Stainless steel experience a plus but not necessary.
• Blueprint reading a must
• Fitting experience a must
• Resume and weld certification required
