Our established client in Lancaster is seeking a production associatefor the following unique position!

SHEET MOLDER I

Salary is starting $17.50-18/hr. 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Job Duties: SHEET MOLDER I-

• Operate Surface Grinder following Safe practices.
• Finish Sheets to size including the use of Band Saw, Buffing, and sanding equipment.
• Package and create finished product.
• Maintenance on Equipment including Grinders, Band Saws, Sanders, Buffing Wheels, Ventilation Equipment
• Supports sheet molding including Prepping metal, Molding sheets.
• Maintains accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Provide good customer service.

Job Requirements:

Experience/Skills:

• Working in an industrial setting
• Experience with most varieties of hand and power tools.
• Must carry up to 10 pounds constantly, up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to operate Surface Grinder
• Ability to use measuring tools (Vernier calipers, scale, micrometer)
• Good communication skills required to follow direction, work in a team, and discuss machines with customers.
• Machining experience
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with computer applications (for shipping purposes)
