Press Brake Operators
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
6:30am-4pm, Monday – Friday
Staffworks Group is looking for Experienced Press Brake Operators for a company specializing in making custom sheet metal fabrication operations more productive. This is a “job shop” environment in a modern state-of-the-art LED lit facility located in Twinsburg. Our customer is a growing Application Engineering Services company covering all aspects of fabrication.
Press Brake Operators perform all press operations, setups, and adjustments using all new, high-tech Trumpf equipment that possess amazing capabilities. These positions are meant to be career jobs with the customer, NOT short-term.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read blueprints and shop drawings to bend materials to shape according to specifications
- Load tooling and make machine adjustments to adhere to company quality standards and hold tolerances
- inspect all manufactured parts to assure quality standards are held
- Use of general industry tools such as calipers, height gauge, squares, protractor, and tape measure.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have Metalworking Machine Operator experience
- Minimum 1 year experience operating a Press Brake
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a “job shop” setting
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience using general industry tools such as calipers, height gauge, squares, protractor, and tape measure
- Experience loading tooling and making machine adjustments
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day
- Must have steel toes
