Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
3pm-11pm
Pay: $19.20-$25.20/hour 
Maintenance Technicians will need to take an entry exam, the exam will determine what level the tech will be hired and paid at:
Maintenance Tech Level 1: $25.20/hour                      
Maintenance Tech Level 2: $22.20/hour                                                       
Maintenance Tech Level 3: $19.20/hour                                                        
 
Staffworks Group is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturer and marketer of specialty food products for the retail and foodservice markets located in Bedford Heights.
 
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and follows the direction of the Shift Lead-man. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of industrial maintenance and repair work experience. Basic welding and machining skills, electrical and electronics experience required.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance in an industrial environment (electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, basic robotics) 
  • Keep all equipment operating in a safe manner and producing a quality product
  • Respond with a sense of urgency to answer calls, diagnose problems safely, professionally and efficiently and in a manner that incurs as little downtime to production equipment as possible
  • Troubleshoot single and multiple phase power circuits
  • Perform conduit work and wire pulls by reading blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Replace / repair / rebuild positive displacement (PD) and centrifugal pumps 
  • Troubleshoot / replace servomotors and associated circuitry
  • Troubleshoot, clear faults, program, and replace ac inverters; clear faults from ple's and interpret logic operations in the troubleshooting of logic control circuitry
  • Participate in and follow policies and procedures related to safety and maintenance
  • Complete all paperwork requirements including parts requisition forms in a timely manner and by the end the assigned shift 
  • Performs all other duties as required by Shift Lead-man and Management
Skills and Requirements
  • Must have maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all electrical, facility, and mechanical equipment and their functions
  • Must have ability to perform general maintenance (electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, basic robotics) and possess the ability to trouble-shoot problems
  • Ability to MIG, TIG, and ARC weld, use torches, repair and fabricate at an acceptable level
  • Ability to troubleshoot single and multiple phase power circuits (110-600 volts) and associated lighting, heating, cooling, motor, and control circuits
  • Ability to perform conduit work and wire pulls
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Ability to use all maintenance shop equipment and assorted hand tools
  • Must be able to replace / repair / rebuild positive displacement (PD) and centrifugal pumps 
  • Must be able to troubleshoot / replace servomotors and associated circuitry
  • Ability to troubleshoot, clear faults, program, and replace ac inverters; clear faults from ple's and interpret logic operations in the troubleshooting of logic control circuitry
  • Must have own tools
  • Agility in reaching, pulling, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing
  • Ability to lift 25-50 Ibs.
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in extremely high temperatures, outside work - cold and warm temperatures
  • High School graduate, technical training courses desired and substantiated
