Job Description
Light Machine Operator
The primary purpose of this role is to perform simple machine set up, troubleshoot with machine operator assistance in our plating room.
Duties of the Machine Operator include:
- Set up make ready and operate equipment
- Perform quality checks and stack finished product
- Record production data with accuracy
- Adhere to work quality standards and standards of work
- Run equipment at optimal level at all times to meet daily production goals
- Adhere to safety standards
Requirements for the Machine Operator include:
- Pass math and ruler test
- Pass problem-solving test
- Manufacturing experience
- Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
- Interpret and follow directions with precision
- Computer skills for job detail input and machine operation
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Detail oriented
