Janitor

Staffworks Group is hiring Full Time for a Janitorial Worker for our client in Solon, OH. This position is in a manufacturing environment with the potential to be hired directly with our client.

Shifts/Pay Rate – 1st Shift, Monday to Thursday, 6a-4:30p

Starting Pay = $15 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Perform general janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities
2. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
3. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
4. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
5. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
6. Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
7. Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues
8. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in facilities maintenance or janitorial work preferred
2. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, such as buffing and floor stripping, is a plus
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
5. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
6. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of duties
