Job Description

Staffworks Group is hiring Industrial Painter in Erie, MI. Our client provides technologies that increase production, protect valuable products, and eliminate touches through automation.

Weekly Pay, Health Benefits, Referral Bonus 

1st Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm
Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $17 an hour

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces of items to be painted to ensure proper adhesion 
  • Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance with blueprints and/or customer specifications 
  • Set up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures 
  • Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjust colors, and fix defects 
  • Record and report working hours and material usage 
  • Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience with industrial painting is preferred
  • Steel toe shoes/boots required
  • Work independently with little supervision
Work Environment:
  • Casual and comfortable where creativity is encouraged
  • Clean shop with large work spaces Full canteen and lockers
  • Team approach to problem-solving
