Hand Grinding/Polishing
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Shift: First Shift
 
Staffworks Group is seeking Hand Grinder/Polisher candidates for a customer in Cleveland that manufactures a full line of packaging and process equipment specializing in industrial packaging, food service, and stainless-steel tables. 
 
This position is responsible for grinding and polishing welded areas on the tables. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform hand grinding and polishing on welded areas of stainless steel tables for quality and finish
  • Use several grinding/polishing hand tools, including pedestal grinder, tumbler, belt grinder, surface grinder, disc grinder              
Skills and Qualifications:    
  • Experience using pedestal grinder, tumbler, belt grinder, surface grinder, disc grinder
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds    
  • Quality comes first attitude    
  • Practices safe work habits     
  • Able to participate in a team work environment   
  • High school diploma required 
  • Must have steel toes or work boots  
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
