Job Description

Act as a liaison between a specific customer account base and production. Maintain a schedule based on customer requests. Monitor particular job assignment activity. Communicate with Customer Service, Sales, Estimating, Planning and Production to assure a accurate and timely delivery to each customer.
Duties and Responsibilities of the CSR include:
  • Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in service.  
  • Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders.  
  • Review and update the schedule for proofs and production. Call on proofs, review proofs, and forward proofs to the customer.  
  • Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.  
  • Use of safe work habits and complies with all safety rules and guidelines.  
  • Know, understand, and comply with all company policies.  
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and accept responsibility for his/her own actions.  
  • Participation in weekly Customer Service meetings.  
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.  
  • Computer skills are essential for this position along with being familiar and having the ability to learn software programs related to printing production.  
Requirements for the CSR position include:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred  
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • Basic mathematical skills 
  • Ability to follow direction  
  • Ability to make critical decisions  
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with others 
  • Interpret and follow directions with precision
  • Computer skills for job detail input
