CUSTOMER SERVICE

 

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To receive all fax, telephone and mail communications

  • To accurately process customer orders, invoicing and questions

  • To create and update customer information

 

REPORTS TO

  • Customer Service Supervisor

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Answer phones

  • Take customer orders for product, return goods authorization, defective return goods authorization, pricing or literature

  • Process orders and double check co-workers orders 

  • Process invoices

  • Maintain customer file information 

  • Assist sales representatives as needed

  • Process credits

  • Keep updated on product information

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable calls

  • Return calls for orders to let the customer know account is on hold

  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Education

  • Good phone skills

  • Good verbal and written skills

  • Computer experience

  • Filing and typing skills

  • Ability to handle stress, multiple task and deadlines
