Job Description

Staffworks Group is hiring CNC Mill Machinist in Willoughby, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with programming in Mastercam, conversational programming, or similar CNC programming experience. Experience with Fanuc and Haas machines preferred. Setting up/programming CNC machines and performing quality checks on parts.
 
Direct Hire Position
 
Location: Willoughby, OH
Starting Pay: Up to $90,000 depending on experience

1 opening on 2nd shift 3pm – 11:30pm
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Programming, Setup and Operation of Haas, Fanuc verticals and horizontal CNC machines - Haas and Fanuc
  • Proficient in the use of MasterCam, conversational programming, or similar CAM programs to effectively create efficient programs for machine tools.
  • Proven success machining tight tolerance
  • Perform inspection of parts utilizing standard shop measuring equipment. Hand tools, comparators, video measuring system, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of proper utilization of cutting tools
  • Develop/suggest process improvements
  • Ability to work with metric and inch measurements
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years' programming complex, tight tolerance parts successfully with MasterCam, conversational programming, or a similar program.
  • Minimum 3 years of CNC and programming experience
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve program and machining issues
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision
