Job Description

Staffworks Group is hiring a CNC Machinist in Rossford, OH.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday with possible weekend overtime

Compensation: $25-$30 per hour depending on level of experience

Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines, including Fanuc controls, to perform machining operations
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
Use power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges to perform machining tasks
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
Assemble components as needed using various tools and techniques

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in operating and programming CNC lathe machines, specifically those with Fanuc controls
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges
Forklift certification is preferred but not required
