MANUAL OD (OUTER DIAMETER) GRINDER

THIS IS A HIGHLY SKILLED POSITION

2 OPENINGS

1ST SHIFT - MON - FRI 6:30 AM - 3 PM

2ND SHIFT - MON - THURS - 3 PM - 1 AM

$19-22/HR BOE

Duties include but not limited to:

· Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments

· Calculate dimensions and tolerance using knowledge of mathematics

· Reading micrometers and calipers

· Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and grinders

· Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized advanced variation tools.

Requirements:

· MUST be mechanically inclined

· Previous knowledge of running a machine

· Previous experience in a machine shop a plus

· Stand on your feet for 8 or more hours at a time

· Frequently required to lift and/or more 50 pounds & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure

· Ability to read and interpret blue prints & micrometers is a MUST

· Must be able to work overtime if needed

· Must be able to train on a 1st shift and move to 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3:00pm – 1:00am plus rotating weekends)
