Staffworks Group is hiring Bindery Assistant for an IMMEDIATE NEED.  1 shift, Monday - Friday 6 am -2 pm
 
Our client specializes in producing publications, magazines, books, booklets, journals, and manuals for publishers, associations, and national distribution partners. 
 
As a Bindery Assistant you will assist the Machine Operator:
  • Set up make ready and operate equipment
  • Perform quality checks and stack finished product
  • Record production data with accuracy
  • Adhere to work quality standards 
 
Requirements for the Bindery Helper:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Pass math and ruler test
  • Minimum 6 months recent/current manufacturing experience
  • Able to understand and follow directions
  • Basic Computer skills for job detail input 
  • Mechanical aptitude a PLUS
  • Constantly lift to 10 pounds
  • Constantly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Occasionally move pallets of material with pallet mover
