Job Description
Staffworks Group is hiring Bindery Assistant for an IMMEDIATE NEED.
Our client specializes in producing publications, magazines, books, booklets, journals, and manuals for publishers, associations, and national distribution partners.
As a Bindery Assistant you will assist the Machine Operator:
- Set up make ready and operate equipment
- Perform quality checks and stack finished product
- Record production data with accuracy
- Adhere to work quality standards
Requirements for the Bindery Helper:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Pass math and ruler test
- Minimum 6 months recent/current manufacturing experience
- Able to understand and follow directions
- Basic Computer skills for job detail input
- Mechanical aptitude a PLUS
- Constantly lift to 10 pounds
- Constantly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Occasionally move pallets of material with pallet mover
