Staffworks Group is Now Hiring an Entry Level Grinder, located in 44146 area!!
 
Shift: Nights 10PM - 10AM
Payrate: $15 - $17 per hour based on experience (+.75 shift diff for 3rd). + bonus every 6 months

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 
  • Separate/sort plastic sheets 
  • Box, label and weigh inventory. 
  • Follow grinding schedule. 
  • Load material into grinder and grind into pellet form to be used for reprocessing into sheet form.
  • Tear down/break down/clean grinding machine. 
  • Stage material for upcoming jobs 
  • Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.
  • Regular and punctual attendance  
  • Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes.  
  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management. 
 
Skills and Requirements: 
  • Tow motor driving. 
  • Must be able to read and write. 
  • Must be able to read a tape measure. 
  • Ability to retain information.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Proficient at basic math. 
  • Must be able to work in a team environment. 
  • Able to communicate clearly with co-workers 
  • Able to lift up to 50# 
  • Able to use hand tools such as hammers, circular saw, table saw, band saw and nail gun 
  • Able to multitask and self-organize 
  • Must have worked in a general warehouse setting 
  • Follow written safety procedures 
  • Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.  
  • Regular and punctual attendance 
 
Education Requirements 
  • High school diploma/GED minimum 
  • Forklift Certification a plus 
  • Basic computer skills a plus 
 
Physical Demands: 
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. 
Must be able to move up and down on steps and the catwalk multiple times per day.
