Job Description

Staffworks Group is hiring for Saw Operator in Erie, MI. You will efficiently process stock steel.
Weekly Pay, PTO, Health Benefits
Pay Rate: $16-$18 an hour depending on experience.
1st Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Monday - Friday
Job Description:
  • Cut parts from stock steel using a Do all 600nc semi-automatic saw, and/or an Amada 250
  • Properly nest parts making sure the correct tips, parameters, etc. are being used
  • Share the responsibilities with the plasma operator to unload steel
Qualifications:
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Able to read protractor
  • Self-starter
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
Work Environment:
  • Clean shop with large workspaces
